What is the Aging Well Lab?
The Aging Well Lab is a group of faculty and students at the University of Michigan-Dearborn who are interested in understanding more about how we age, and especially how we age well. Find out more HERE.
Why is the Aging Well Lab interested in me?
We study aging, which means we need aging people to help us! For most of our studies, we seek out people aged 60 years or older, but sometimes recruit adults in midlife as well.
Who leads the Aging Well Lab?
The Aging Well Lab is headed by Dr. Brenda Whitehead, an associate professor of psychology. Dr. Whitehead is a developmental psychologist, with specific training in studying adult development and aging. Find out more HERE.
What will I have to do?
Most of the time, studies involve filling out surveys--sometimes once, sometimes daily for two weeks, sometimes yearly--that tell us information about how you are experiencing the aging process. Sometimes, we also have in-person data collection, where you may come to campus. Find more information about individual studies HERE.
How can I help?
There are a few ways:
1. Take the survey through the link above.
